Priority actions this week:

1. Check your FBA application status.

Pre-filled FBA applications are waiting at fsa.usda.gov/fba for anyone who filed a 2025 acreage report. Log in, verify your acres, and submit before April 17.

2. Confirm your CRP acres before the signup closes.

CRP General signup closes April 17. If you have sensitive acres — waterways, buffers, or erodible ground — contact your FSA office this week for a conservation plan and bid.

3. Farmers with ideas: apply to AgVentures Alliance Discovery Trials.

The $10,000 Discovery Trial winner is announced March 25. Apply via the Airtable form at agventuresalliance.com/discovery-trials. They want clear thinking and the courage to test in public — not a polished proposal.
